Guys I’m expecting my first born in end of May. And am planning to do shopping now itself. I’m from Melaka and would like to ask , Is it worth it to travel to ikea to buy a baby cot and play pen ? I would actually prefer to just get the stuff online and use. U credit cards.
Can I get good quality ones online ? Any suggestions ?
What else do I need ?

So far , this is the list I made :

1. 2 cots with mattress and pillows
2. Blanket
3. mosquito net
4. Changing table with dresser
5. Changing pad to be put on the mattress
6. Bathing tub
7. Pampers , socks , mittens , new born wear
8. towel , bassinet
9. napkins
10. breast pump , pad , storage bag , sterilizer - getting online from mylovelybaby ( fb site) , RM 699 for pump and RM 88 for accessories , but without sterilizer
11. baby stroller - need to know how big the baby is
12. car seat - need to know how big is the baby
13. Baby carrier
14. Baby bouncer

buy from lazada shoppee etc....if u wanna buy online. but do check the reviews.

i always check actual stuff before purchasing online.

also, lookout for baby expo / baby fair. can be cheap and a lot of promo.

breast pump.... better go to those shops that the wife can actually try it on.
each nipple and each women is different. so its best to try.
if u really need to buy before give birth, buy a cheap hand pump first....then after start to produce milk, then buy the one that she is comfortable after trying it.
a lot of shops nowadays have sets for trial at their shop.

what happens if your wife dont have milk after birth? or very minimum? wasted.

baby stroller? dont buy online unless u have checked the actual product in real life.
u have to see it, touch it, push it around to have a feel.
cheap ones can look nice, but doesnt work nicely.
