QUOTE(ahbenggay @ May 31 2007, 07:15 PM) ermm...i want to ask some noobz question about the 8500 GE or GT graphic card here. As you can see they oni cost around RM400 - RM600. I'm using GeForce 7600GS 256 MB 256Bit now. It cost me around RM500 + last year sept. Just want to know y the 8500 so cheap? Izzit better than mine becasue directx10 or ? Hope some1 can help me out here . Thinking Of changing mine I don't think there is a need for u to change it now unless ur card have problem (since ur using 7600gs and it's only abt 1 year old).. because there aren't any dx10 games come out yet, u might need to wait until dx10 come out first then just to decide which one to take. Unless it's urgent, or i advise to wait until more dx10 release.

hello, i would like to know..for those who are using 8800gts 320mb version (not oc), what is your score in 3d mark 06? i only manage to score 8400 (513/800), and if i oc to (620/920) i only manage to get 8800.. is it a bad score or average score?? Besides, is it possible that if i add addtional fan or change the fan of the card to get higher clock and ram speed (stable)? cos currently if i go more than 620/920 my pc will hang there.. (oh ya..i'm noob in ocing.. )

have a question.. if wanna buy a fan for 8800gts.. if i buy a extra fan which put under the 8800 (the slot under the card), will it help to cool down the card? or it is better to change the fan of the origin 8800? thanks.

QUOTE(tanghm @ Aug 24 2007, 12:08 AM) Wooo stanley85 another Gigabyte 8800gts 320 user, mind telling your idle + load temperature at default and 100% fan speed ? Yes, get those PCI slot VGA exhaust fans will help get rid of the hot air around the 4 ventilation holes area. QUOTE(-vip3rleon9- @ Aug 24 2007, 11:11 AM) hmm.. exhaust fan or fans to blow directly at your card? currently using a Vantec Fan Card to blow my 8800GTS 320mb. for 100% fan speed, 58c idle and i thin abt 70c load. however, ori is 59% fan speed (sometimes forgot to set to 100% cos everytime when restart my pc it is set to origin fan speed) 65c idle and 73c full load. i mean the fan blow directly to my card. vip3r, may i know whats ur card temp after changing the fan? cos i dunno whether those vga fan is really effective or not..as compare to the origin one.
