saw 8400gs on lowyat pricelist. this gpu is as good as his big brother 8500GT above in terms of playing HD movies(x264) ?

iinm 85/8600GT have ability to decode HD vids on its own gpu and this features called as PureVideo(iinm). But, this only applied on DVD-Player while watching bluray/hd-dvd media right? can i use it on media player classic to play x264 video(720p,1080p)?
