if you are not a serious gamer, or you don't have a big size monitor, 8600gt is very enuff for your gaming..I am using a 8600gt now, although I am going to change to a 2900 soon but I stilll like 8600gt..it can just simply hit 10k with this 8600gt card after oced.. it's cheap for this card but it can play most of the game in high setting...I am using a 22" LCD running very smooth on oblivion, stalker, aoe3, c&c3 and dark mersiah.

8600gt is a very good midrange card, can run almost all games i have on max setting with 1680*1050 res.. oblivion, stalker, cnc3, dark mersiah, dawn of magic, gothics3.. ) vote for this card;))

I'm using 22", the max resolution for me in lostpaneldx10 demo is 1600x??? i forgot the firgure.. but i am sure it allows u to change to that resolution.
