QUOTE(sHawTY @ Aug 17 2007, 11:52 AM) 8800 super duper heater? Ya from what I read in a custom pc stress test, a 2900XT was drawing about 340w while a 8800gts was drawing about 260w from the psu. Can't be too sure about the numbers though, don't have the magazine in front of me.You ain't see nothing man, wait until you have 2900XT in your hand then you'll know which one is hotter and which one is cooler. QUOTE(rsangel @ Aug 23 2007, 01:46 AM) Yup is a passive cooler with a big solid heat sink, Should be fine imo if it stays there. I think if you look back through this thread, there are quite a few posts with people asking about temperature ranges.i try to OC it to 650 / 800 the temp shoot up to 61~67c is this kind of temperature GC able to handle it? |

Those benchmarks are hardly surprising though. I knew the moment i tried playing in directx10 mode for CoH that I would be playing crysis in DX9

The 8500gt is underpowered compared to the 8600gt.
Memory is great for loading large textures but at the end of the day you're not going to have enough horsepower to push those large textures around. Correct me if I'm wrong. |
