[08/07/2007] My graphics card has a abnormal high temperature on loading (90`C) even i use a table fan to blow over it. Would changing the thermal paste void the warranty? Thanks...

Above is the respond by XFXForce technician, it seems like changing the Thermal Paste won't void the warranty

All my casing has sidepanel fan, i am using that logic, is that wrong?

That's not a so called "MOD".
That's what we call as using the same principal as using casing.

FYI, my pc run on naked, no casing, since i'm going to use the same principal, i put a fan on top of it.

but one thing is unfair now, why 8600 GTS and above don;t suffer from major price drop ? 8800GTS still rm1k +

then sell it at rm 430 in june

Make so much fuss for wat? Take all the models of 8600GT in Malaysian market and compare with Colorful 8600GT UE, just by comparing the specs you will know that Colorful wins. Plus its stock heatsink is so much better.
The reason why I chose UE is cause it has the power connector. With that sure can overclock more than the OC version. Pricewise although over my budget abit, I still went ahead and bought the card. Almost GTS performance at a cheaper price.

Though I have no 120mm fan blowing at the card, my idle temps are 46 and looping 3Dmark06 gets me 60.
