Is there any difference between these 2 brands for the sensitive teeth problem?

I had been using Sensodyne Protect for many years, and the government dentist gave me 3 pack of small Colgate Sensitive Relief toothpaste when I went there for patching last few days ago. Having 2 different brands now at my hands, it got me curious whether which of the brand is more superior or effective when it comes to treat my sensitive teeth.

I am interested to hear you guys opinion and thought about it.

Colgate is not up to par compared to sensodyne.

Why not you just try it yourself?

Which sensodyne do you recommended if you got any?

Tried both and I can't feel the difference.

Sensodyne was getting useless after using it for few years. Then try Colgate and instantly feeling much better. Hence Sensodyne finally feeling the heat and introduced the new model (cannot remember the name). I still haven't tried the new one but if old sensodyne vs Colgate, it's a Colgate win.

You can feel the difference if you have sensitive teeth or have done some extraction recently.

Sensodyne does “relief” the effect.

Try them out for at least 3 days in a row.

If you know the difference, you would know what to choose.

I don't know as I not a chemist. These 2 products simply said that it can help you to relief your sensitive tooth.

One numb it, the other rebuild it.

Which one is rebuild? Colgate?

Thanks for the link. It seems that Colgate is a clear winner at here unless I have missed something.

My dentist told me it needs to be on our teeth for at least 10 mins. Since we cannot possibly brush for so long, he suggested applying a thin layer before going to bed.

I use both but sensodyne is the better choice.i'm using repair & protect fresh but keep rapid in hand for emergency

I swap around with colgate sensitive pro, sensodyne and oral B sensitive

Hmmmm.. i have never consider the option of using both or more than one toothpaste though...

I can agree that sensodnye works. Been using it for a year now. Use to have sensitive teeth and occasional pains. So far, no issue.

I can't really tell the differences as I'm not a pro, but I put my money on Sensodyne (and using it myself, along with my family).

The makers of Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief and its rival, Sensodyne Rapid Relief, have been dobbing each other into the health regulator over advertising claims that the toothpastes give users "instant" relief to pain from sensitive teeth. They don't.

I had been using sensodyne repair whitening, so do you think I should continue using it? Or change other to sensodyne model?
