Will the CKD be the Boyue Pro version?

If the CKD is based on the Boyue Pro, I think this new version should be better in many ways.

can't they test it concurrently in china and malaysia?

boyue pro is a facelift.

i want the CKD to be based on boyue pro released in china this year, which looks so much better of the cabin, and also improves on brakes and sway issue.

We can judge the proton local cars in 2019, such as persona, iriz and saga, we know the improvement is essential. Geely is doing a great job on proton.
By this judgement, we may say the CKD won't be a disappointment, if it could maintain that QC.

if that's a CKD, then big disappointment for me. Because i really like the Boyue Pro internal.

i'm still desperately wishing to know if the upcoming (this month?!) CKD version would based on PRO version....because that PRO version looks so much better interior, and improvement on driving experience too.

Seriously, do you guys think this X70's overall quality is comparable to popular Japanese brands such as Toyota or Honda?

I so wish the upcoming (this month as most people expects) X70 CKD based on the boyue PRO. But, ya, the chance is tiny.
And CKD's quality is unproven yet. However, if the 2019 Persona, Iriz and Saga are all well made (no cracking sound here and there!), then we may expect the X70 CKD to be well made too.

So many complains about the audio system. Hopefully they made improvement on the CKD version. However, no X70 owners made changes to improve the audio system? Would love to hear their experience.

But, it's not a good news, if the article is accurate. I don't understand why on earth people prefer "Proton drive and handling" to Volvo's involvement on Geely's handling in the new Pro version. Maybe, that fine tuned by Volvo's module couldn't put into this non-PRO body. Overall, it's a shame not to get the PRO version, the improvements are exactly the weakness of X70.

Can someone explain what is so good about "Proton drive and handling" as compare to the current X70 or other brands such as Toyota or Honda? Thank you!
