Yep, to change the 19" tyre in the coming 2-3 years will be quite a nightmare. Premium buyer need to anticipate the cost and start saving after a year of purchase hahaha

Standard and Exec 2WD are already very well equipped. But Premium is surprisingly cheaper than what everyone expected.

I can definitely see Premium owner trading in those 19" for a size smaller. Though have to consult the dealer first before doing it just as precaution.

yep, the journalist kept saying wow the fit and finish is amazing, bali bala this and that, yet the inside door handle already making squeaky noise when grabbed from the unit I saw yesterday, legroom also pathetic for a suv this size, can't even open the glovebox fully if I sit in the passenger seat, nowadays people can't make up their own mind, everything had to be fed by youtubers telling you what to think, they have to maintain good relations with manufacturer PR, anything they said just believe 30% enough, go see for yourself, just don't blindly believe the hype.

Just did my test drive on it. 112k OTR for an executive 2WD spec is pretty good. Almost all existing feature wise and tech wise is in there already. In fact, it has more than what CX-5 has.

Handling, stability, suspension, body rolling and cornering is below CX-5. Rear passengers felt uncomfortable on bumpy road and cornering. Handling is so so when doing cornering at mid to high speed. Despite being heavier at 1.7 tonne and bigger rim at 19", when doing cornering at 60-80, the rear passengers felt "terbang-ing"

NVH is good. Pretty much on par with CX-5.

Pick up speed is good as well but the gear shift is a bit like Honda's CVT. Not sure if they are the same but it feels like that.

Driver seating position is weird. It's positioned like a sport's car seating. Kinda uncomfortable for big size guy. The steering wheel is set to highest and seating is set to lowest - yet the steering wheel still hits my knee.

Instrumental cluster is awesome. I always like digital stuffs. Very informative.

Entertainment hub.....is mixed feeling. Sometimes when I touched the button but no response - ended up have to press few times. Also the screen is very fingerprint magnet which triggers the OCD-ness in me. The "Hi Proton" thing is very canggih and nice to have but I doubt will use it a lot in real life cause sometimes it's a hit and miss.

I did not try the sport mode. The test drive period was short so I didn't get to test it.

Despite all the negatives. I believe its better to take a look and it will provide more confident when buying it. Alot of them on the road. Looks good

don't be surprised, sometimes I encounter friends ask me to compare toyota Vios and Perodua Myvi.

sometimes people comparing within their budget, some people comparing within the size.

Even same engine but different body will affect a lot in FC.

Mass, driver behavior, acceleration, how many passengers, tyre size, tyre air, bodykit, engine tuning and etc.

Even if you can direct compare the SUV, the result ain't right for different variables too.
