Unless you can crack out the API/signal proton/geely or that HU manufacturer using.
so you can install the app on another HU, still receive the same signal.
like X50 you turn the aircon fan/cool knob it trigger the screen show the current aircon status in detail.

Current HU is using android. but quite old version. 4.1?
because the newer x50 using android 5.1 with 2012 or 2014 SOC

X50 soc actually much better.
If you check out the current 300-ish touchscreen HU all spec like that, just less lag because less bloatware inside.

The example i give actuallt do able, just not really worth the time to study

like laggy HU, laggy reverse camera....

for me pov, maybe you can get update from altas and they messing it up need few of their future update to fix their 'update'. what about no

can try ask all x50 owner, there have no pro and con and only con.

the people who praise about altas no lag on reverse camera and smooth system surely never use the previous GKUI once.
they fix their HU left and right imbalance (LHD convert RHD problem) causing all dsp already done the fix before proton now need to retune their dsp.
and i yet mention their 'fix' cause another imbalance on all 4 speaker where you cant just simple flip your dsp tune left and right....need totally retune.

more to come but i lazy to mention otherwise i look like proton hater....
for me, as long as they dont mess it up anything, i call it a win...but they never disappointing me lol

no no. the geely x kenwood colab speaker no big problem, it is slightly better than x50 stock geely speaker.
the problem on x50 is it LHD converted, so the the 'emperor position' is current passenger seat.
so owner install DSP to adjust and fix this problem, but now proton push their fix on HU side, that messed up everyone dsp tune (unless the dsp you install not tunable)
and yet thats the complete story, atlas also messed up 4 speaker volume.

unless proton/atlas not doing the same move on x70...or it will happen again.

at fb you can see people publicly show in car watching football, youtube.... (yet mention other and i sked kibod warrior looking for me)

also atlas tot malaysian caveman enough dont know to sideload anything.... (by how many people buy current huawei phone? idk)
surprisemadafaka..... malaysian dig their pre-atlas system in and out for hidden feature....
