Don't choose the latter if you cant handle learning a new language and push your mastery level to a niveau equivalent to ielts/muet in 2 years

I applied for JPA JKPJ but I have not much interest in engineering though.Still thinking whether to go for the student assessment or not

just go and have fun, u can decide later if you are chosen

Do you have any friends or anyone whom you know that have gone for this program? I am really really confused rn and do not want to regret not taking the 9A+ scholarship later .

How will they choose the university ? ( which uni are you in btw ?)
My cousin told me that some students are sent 6 months after the preparatory course for Germany , is that true ?
I also saw that the Masters program offered is only equivalent to Malaysian degree level , so does that mean the degree in Germany has no value in Malaysia ?

They dont choose the uni for u, but u choose it yourself
There used to be 3 centers that prep students for this program(now only 2) , and i dont think there is any 6 months prep course , all my friends from these 3 schools did a 2 year prep course in Malaysia
Yes Malaysian government only recognizes German Master degree to be equivalent to a Malaysian degree, while German degree = Malaysian Diploma
But it doesnt matter for me anyway, coz I plan to work for German companies in Malaysia, which welcome n recognize German Master

Well I would just recommend you go for A-levels, under JPA 9A+ scholarship if possible, else you do your foundation in Nottingham/Southampton/Heriot-Watt/Monash and try to get a scholarship later for your Degree.

JKPJ is also under JPA government isn't it?
As long it offers you A-Level it should be sufficient, if you aimed to go overseas.

Because normally "foundation" wouldn't cut it if you aim to go overseas.
As far as I know I think only German program offers you for A-Levels under JPA Overseas Studies, where you completed A-Level locally.
If you swapped to JKPJ please get German program.


Also A-Level certificate is much more versatile, when you plan to register to NUS/NTU/ Local Gov. Uni/ UK / EU / Commonwealth Universities.

Also as far I know, got few students went to A-Level with Penajaan 9A+ during the abolishment of KPM Bursary, in favour of that. you need to discuss with your Scholarship Coordinater/Handler for that info.

Basically I'm urging you to do A-Level is because you can use it as a backup plan, in case you actually screw up your application to UK.
Our local IPTA/IPTS will still accept your moderate results with Cs and Bs.

Just graduated in February this year with my batchmates under Program Khas in Korea. Feel free to pm me if you'd still need some guidance!

Depends on which type of uni ur attending, there's literally no breaks for a research uni, just " Lecture - free period " which is filled with exams like twice per month for the whole sem break
But for another type of uni , uni of applied science, the exams are packed into one week, so the other months are completely free

When r the result release? For JKPJ

i heard it comes out on may 11

The result was released on 8 may. I didnt get it though
