i googled around..and most also give 1 downside of it..

the cord blood will mostly NOT be able to be used on your own child...in another word, it's useless to help your own baby if that's your intention.

for the blood already have the pre-disease..so cant use that to help your baby (or when he/she grows up).

dont understand this

i mean for example, if the baby when grow up got cancer..then even if go back to cord bank to get the stem cell..the stem cell will already have pre-cancer gene inside it..so it wont help the baby themselves..

hence if they refund..what's the purpose then?

its not life saving..but jst keep there for the sake of keeping?

i read throughout the world, only 0.04% uses them...and advance countries like korea only 1.4% uses them..the rest well..wont help..also i am not sure the help or useful is use in what sense..

but will they know if there's any carcinogenic trait in it since it havent develop yet and that's why the new born baby dont have cancer to begin with. some might develop few years later...or never..
