Hi,

Frankly speaking I do not know what to write in this thread. I have been feeling hopeless in life. Wanted to get help but it is way to expensive and company does not cover for such high medical expenses. I went to Befrienders before, but they seems like listening to problems only instead of solving your problem and for government I heard it is waste of time going there. I have also went to counselling session for around half a year it did help, but I am not fully recovered and this discomfort problem still comes once in awhile.

Currently I have been in some kind of discomfort feelings which makes me not feeling like doing anything.

I have tried exercise, it did help but not fully.

I have tried meditate, but it doesn't seem helping much either.

After trying a few ways and still I don't feel that I am in a very good shape yet and that will lead me to a thought that I am hopeless.

Anyone can let me know what should I do to make things better?

You need someone who can listen, understand and guide you like some therapists.
This then, means a friend or just a person who you can write to (at the same time, it will not be harmful for you to understand him too).

Befrienders did not help me when I wrote to them few years back.
Since many of them are volunteers, they spend very less genuine interest in the people's stories.

Have you discovered the root of this numbness?

Is it your self esteem?
*
yes I need guidance to be exact. I have several friend listen to my stories, but most of them just listen.

Yes that is why I wanted to look for professional, I have went to some where similar to befrienders, they did give some guidance but still I feel lost.

I think I know what it is, but still it torture me once in awhile.

My opinion is a good therapist will cost you.
I'd hate that, because I feel someone only advises me for money.

I would look for communities who are going through the same situation. I would go online and look for people's stories and motivation.

If you don't mind about money, private therapist would be the best option.
*
yeah that is one of my concern that is why i am looking for help in online community. i have visited to therapist once before it cost 250 for an hour. it is quite expensive.

Are you familiar with 16 personality types and highly sensitive person test?

I am trying. Music helps a bit but not much. My close friend had their partner. I would not like to disturb their precious time with their other half. Anyway I have tried to clean up my room just to ease myself a little bit.

Anyway I feel better now. Thanks a lot ^^

if they are your closest friends, they will b willing to help you n put you as part of their life though..

they will b worried about u n will ask you regularly on wat's your status..

listen to music, soothing music.. those meditation music.. if its too slow too you

go for a dance beat one.. not EDMs or metal rock.. cause tat may b too disturbing n noisy to your case..  console.gif

actually they did, when my friend brought me along, he will bring his gf as well. I just feel that I am in the middle of disturbing them that is why.

I just watched movie with my friend just now and I feel quite uncomfortable currently.
