Boy o boy, after reading all the comments foregoing, I sure am going to change my Navi to N82. With the Xenon flash incorporated,I guess Nokia has finally address all its existing camera phones poor foto quality when taken in dim light. My opinion. Gonna rush down to my regular fone shop to inquire fone availability 2day.

is about the warranty only between ap and ori and some of the function can be use for free if you buy ori set like the gps navigation but for this n82 i am not very sure about the free 3months navigation like n95 8gb,the rest is almost the same pay another extra rm430 for insurance but if the phone is human nature spoil buy ori set also useless lo....hope you get what i mean, just to see that whether you care your phone or not ap or ori it depends how you use the phone...peace

Hi Eric,

I just bought one in China last week. Though it's not sandisk, toshiba nor kingston, the price I paid for is so very much cheaper. rclxms.gif <RM65.00 in fact. It's a Kingstar 4GB micro SD. Had to clean up as I found it contained worms as detected by Avira and Kaspersky. mad.gif SO guess, will get the shop to reformat it for me when I buy my set, hopefully today. rclxm9.gif

i hope the card work properly. i always suspicious of china made product. remember the 32gb sony vaio thumbdrive and fake sandisk memorystick? lol. if it can work properly, u should buy more and sell here brows.gif
*
Sorli to say this. I go to China solely to go sightseeing. cool2.gif No intention to do quick business. My previous job had conditioned me to be risk adverse. Anyway, hopefully the microSD card that I bought in China, I hope it works out fine. My son too told me to be wary of China made product. I had weighed this risk and am prepared to "burn" my RM spent should the card prove problematic! Am keeping my fingers crossed.

compare with N95 8GB not sure lah.....

N73 vs n82 battery power

this is a my senario
i work as a sales person so, i quick heavy user on calling and receiving call

Senario A-play games, watch a bit of movie, play a bit of music, a bit of wifi, lots of call (but short cal average around 3 to 5 minutes.
Duration=can use 1.5 days
=N82 battery last as long as N73
Senario B-play games, watch a bit of movie, play a bit of music, a bit of wifi, lots of call (but short cal average around 3 to 5 minutes and playing GPS-2 to 3 hours
=N82-take out from charging at 8am and battery dies at 4pm the same day.....
Conclusion=Use in car charger when using GPS in the car...smile.gif
I am fedup with Nokia Maps cause i only manage to use 1 time before have to purchase it......damn when i download the rates...was so shock...it's damn expensive leh......

Now i have install Garmin Mobile XT and happy with it-voice navigation and the maps are more detail than Nokia Maps.

Cheers.

Since I'm in a good mood, I've written a Howto install Garmin and MalsingMaps smile.gif

Edit: I've removed certain steps cause I think is is illegal here

Download all of these first

I don't want the ahem ahem steps in my blog too ler...

Tak per la... Who wants to know the full steps just PM me
1) Garmin is not free. GPS service is free
2) N82 has a GPS receiver inbuilt. So no need to buy external GPS receiver
*
That's the beauty of Nokia N82 which has an in-built GPS and also GPS thumbup.gif Same for N95 as well as the Navigator.

So those who are still undecided whether to jump into the N82 bandwagon........well....what are you waiting for, lei? We have dzi921 to be thankful for being so very helpful.
