Well, regarding about the memory card, it can go up to 16GB or more because this is equipped with the Fp1. But the recommended memory card limit is 2GB which is supplied with the nokia N82, it runs on micro SD and comes with a memory card adapter.

The keypad is small because they want to balance the view and the functions and besides this phone is targeted to technology stylist, which is people who like and nows about the technology and also the style at the same time. It has only silver color at the moment, but the product manager said that more colors will be available next year Q1 2008. The N82 is already available and is already being shipped worldwide. and i have to say the image quality is amazing, much much much better then the nokia n95 or be it n95 8gb especially at night, the xenon flash and also macro is great. for me, i think this is the best nokia phone so far. They only made the screen to 2.4" because they are compromising the size of the device, as you all know the bigger the screen the more width and height measurements has to be made.

This is going to be the imaging flagship device for nokia at the moment. but sadly to say the on board video editing capabilities has been removed like the nokia n82 and also for future devices because it is too slow running on the phone processor speed. and also the stereo speakers has been placed on the same side, this is because if your viewing videos or what so ever the speakers will on one side and it will balance smile.gif

There will be also pre-installed maps and some applications on the phone and sadly the navigation wheel on the nokia n82 has been disabled and also the micro usb speed transfer between phone and computer is still slow but you can always use the memory card reader from the box.

well thats all for now. hope this will answer all your questins

cheers! notworthy.gif

If you are wise, you would wait for the New version of the N82 just like other Nokia flagship products which had alot of users on it, E.g N73, N93 , N95 they all have a new version or an enhanced version..So just wait untill Nokia releases it, and you'll be so mad.gif vmad.gif when the new version is out. biggrin.gif

IMHO, i dont think there will be upgraded version of N82. currently nokia launched 3 new Nseries to replace previous models.

Multimedia: N95 8GB replace N95
Imaging: N82 replace N73
Music: N81 8GB replace N91

if N82 upgraded to 8GB, it probably will disrupt nokia intended market

actually i thought of getting N82 as my secondary phone to compliment my N95, but after reading multiple reviews, i changed my minds due to this few reasons.
1. picture quality still the same, cuz camera module same as N95-1/N95-2/N95-3

2. speaker sound weak

3. kinda huge size for a candy bar phone, even though screen only 2.4in

4. battery capacity still low
*
1. Picture Quality is still better the N95-1, N95-2, N95-3 although it uses the same cmos sensor module.

2. Sound Quality is better then N95-1, N95-2, N95-3, it is louder also.

3. It's not large, it's the same size with N73, which is a standard size.

4. Battery is comparable to the N95-2 and N95-3 . So it's not a small capacity.

So please get your facts rite please, I'm not trying to flame you or anything i just want other forumers to get the wrong info about this device. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

The N82, uses the same camera sensor as the Nokia N95, N95 8GB, N95-US. There aren't any improvements with the Nokia N82 camera sensor and it still produces Noisy pictures with high noise reduction usage which causes the Image to look like crap when it's zoomed in.

If your comparing Nokia N82 and Nokia N73, there isn't much difference as it has the same camera functions but with a higher resolution and Xenon Flash. The Xenon flash wont effect close up shots as the N82 has an advanced ISO Settings that can bet set manually and automatically. Macro wise, the N82 and N73 has the same focal length which is 10cm - 60cm. blush.gif

And also, the N82 will have new colors available by Q1 2008, so if this isnt your color, just wait for the new color or maybe an improved edition from Nokia. Zitron will be the first to have stock for the N82, retail price at RM 2,399. wink.gif
