i have a yamaha pacifica with the ssh pickup configuration! but only the middle single coil pickup is working.. any idea on what could be causing the problem? maybe some wrong wiring?

could i do the repair by myself at home or should i send it to a tech?

Try switching the pickup selector switch fast......
Sometimes there are just dust inside.

Happened to my Old CrapStrat before.

should be the wires under the switch are disconnected...just bring it to any guitar shop and ask them to solder it back for you...

happened to mine once...when i was switching from bridge to neck...a very quick flick and the bridge's wire broke...had to get it soldered to be able to use it again...
