looking for gyms with reasonable rate and good equipment in the Klang Valley

A very friendly environment with lots of experienced and seasoned staff and lifters/ competitors who are always willing to give a hand no matter whether you are a member or just a walk in. Lots of knowledge and experience which can be learned from.

HALE is well equipped with the standard bumper plates, squat racks, a cable machine as well as competition grade powerlifting equipment; such as Ivanko calibrated plates, competition racks as well as specialised bars such as the Texas (Squat/ Bench/ Deadlift) bars, Eleiko and Ivanko power bars and many more. The gym is also equipped with various strongman equipment.

The rates are very reasonable ranging from RM15 per walk-in and RM130 - RM540 depending on the length of the membership with no joining fee needed.

Personal training as well as online coaching are also available.

+1 for the above suggestions @ Hale Athletics. Non-toxic training environment with a lot of strong people always willing to help each other out. Great equipment too!

i know one in serdang...quite good choice of equipment...rm5 per entry & rm60 monthly....cheap maybe becoz most their regular cust is upm student...

dont really suggest Hale Athletics unless OP is a competitive powerlifter. The membership fee/walk in rate is too expensive for a regular gym goer. But the good thing is like others said, people are helpful there. And it is the pioneer of powerlifting in malaysia

Perhaps just going in and sit and look at how other perform their move is worth the price paid. I remember I was there once just to check out the gym, I was aww-ed by the training they do and the weights they move.

Anyone know about any budget fitness nearby Sunway/Subang?

i'm looking for pay per-entry gym nearby Damansara or PJ area.
any recommendation ?

Facilities availability are not my main concern as i'm still newbie.
