QUOTE(led_zep_freak @ May 12 2007, 12:31 PM) Me using the Vox AD50VT, got it for RM1150 at the end of 2005. J00 NEED AN OVERDRIVE PEDALLLLLLLLLLLLL RAWRRRPros : - The Vox and Fender models are very close to the originals. - Valve-like feel in terms of break-up and transparency (It's still your guitar tone that you're hearing - Sounds good even at loud volumes, suitable for small to medium gigs. - Built-in attenuator a bonus for low-volume practices. - Takes pedals pretty well. (Have yet to try fuzz pedals, though!) - Built-in effects are usable but far from professional quality. Reverb is decent though! Cons: - Speaker mutes when a cable is connected to the Line Out. - Lack of a fx-loop. - Marshall models are so-so. - Lack of a super clean model. (Eg. the JC120 - Only 2 user-preset slots available. - Optional footswitch expensive. on a serious note note i find the plexi and the jcm800 modeller decent but the jcm800 really really needs a overdrive pedal to boost it. the plexi model actually gave a nice hendrix-ish tone when i was fooling around with it =p but the jcm2000/900 or watever [uk modern] sounds.... errrr well i don't like it =p and yeah the f/s is really pricey =.=ll @winkybear PEDOBEAR GOT U?!!?!!??!!? lol This post has been edited by sean392: May 12 2007, 08:13 PM |
