how do u guys get such high speed? my speed is on a constant 2Mbps and below only... and i am living in KL area! it doesn't matter if it's in the morning, afternoon, night or even midnight, the speed is just so SHITTY!
i tried using celcom and it can go over 6Mbps, although not to say very high speed, but it's still 3x faster than unifi :/

QUOTE(kernel123 @ Apr 24 2018, 12:45 PM) u need to learn more about LTE band.ur home only got band 5 lte which is shitty. rarely go above 2Mbps all speedtest shown here that about 20 to 30Mbps,that one riding on band 38 which is quite limited how do u know i'm on band 5? but how come other telco can go over 5Mbps? QUOTE(stephantsen @ Apr 24 2018, 12:49 PM) device sometimes could be an issue, what device are you using? well... i am using OnePlus 5, hmmm... from what i've read, it should be compatible with our local band

QUOTE(stephantsen @ Apr 24 2018, 01:03 PM) one plus 5 should be support band 38/band 40. if your speed is around 5 mbps then it will very high possibility that you are on band 5. other telco doesnt use band 5 thats why they can easily go over 5mbps. if you want higher speed perhaps you can try to lock your network to band 38 or band 40, if you are in coverage then you are lucky, the speed will goes around 70mbps hmmm... damn it! stupid unifi! i thought they will auto assign the band, so now i will need to force my phone to use band 38 or 40? hmmm...
