Can the Unifi Bebas unlimited weekly plan be used for tethering?

Are you guys still experiencing reload issues via credit card? Not sure if it is my (foreign) bank or their service. It keeps telling me they are still processing and that they will send me an SMS once it has worked. Which is even worse, because what if all attempts suddenly work? Then I'll have hundreds on the card...

Ah, damn it. I already contacted the support, but they were unable to tell me why I'm having issues and have escalated the issue. No further response yet.

Unfortunately the local bank accounts still have the wrong mobile no saved, so I can't make any payments that way.

The support has now answered that you can only pay with local credit cards. Oh well.

I'm experiencing something odd. For the first few days, using Bebas unlimited tethering worked just fine. Then suddenly internet died on the phone... when it came back, tethering on my Windows PC stopped working. I can still activate and connect, but there is absolutely no data transfer. It's completely dead. USB and BT tethering doesn't seem to work either. Now it gets really weird: If I connect my Amazon Fire Stick to the phone, it works absolutely flawless.

I have only used about 30 GB so far... and not much of that through the computer... (running Windows 10).

Has anyone experienced anything similar and if yes, do you have an idea why? Is it Unifi getting in the way?

After restarting the phone and notebook several times it started working again. But now I'm in the Cameron Highlands and there is no Unifi at all.

There is one town that seems to have coverage according to their map... Umobile (yup!) is a much better option.

Basically unless you are in KL or JB, forget about it. Those places have good coverage though, and the performance in JB is great.
