They use online/real-time charging. There's a mechanism where the network reserves X amount of MB (i think in this case its 100MB) from the billing system to reduce the calls and processing that the billing system has to do. The network will only report back at set intervals (e.g. 10 minutes, configurable.) or when the 100MB is used up.
Any unused amounts will be returned back, so you don't have to worry. You can see this when you go back to wifi, your value will add back up to 100MB or close... minus whatever you have used.

Isn't the purpose of real time charging, the charging is real time or almost real time with no to minimal delay? So, this means that we will not see any increase in usage until the 100MB are used up or the session is terminated or the 10 minutes is up?Any unused amounts will be returned back, so you don't have to worry. You can see this when you go back to wifi, your value will add back up to 100MB or close... minus whatever you have used.

That's how they work... they don't care about anything at all one la bro.
Few weeks ago I asked the CS person what is the best speed I can actually achieve on Unifi Mobile?
She replied with the plans available and pricing, e.g. 8GB HIGH SPEED LTE DATA RM 50
Seriously, they can't comprehend even a simple question!!? Few weeks ago I asked the CS person what is the best speed I can actually achieve on Unifi Mobile?
She replied with the plans available and pricing, e.g. 8GB HIGH SPEED LTE DATA RM 50
My chat goes something like this(my intention was to determine whether the problem was with my phone or the carrier, although other carrier has no problem):
Me: Hi, my 4G keeps dropping to 3G and the volte indicator is gone, is there any network issue or problem with my account?
Rep: What phone are you using?
Me: Samsung galaxy s8
Rep: FYI, not all phones support 4G, not all phones support Volte and it is still what experimental
Me: s8 does support LTE band 5 and volte.
Rep: Have you checked the APN?
(I don't know what this has to do with the cell signal strength, I can connect to internet just fine)
Me: Yes I did, the APN name is unifi isn't it?
Rep: I will send you the configuration. Install and reboot your phone.
Me:Ok
After reboot got email stating problem solved.
Me to myself: yeay, problem solved, what, no, whose problem???*profanity ensued*
It was probably my phone, but TM has a history of making disruptive config change before so just had to make sure. I am really considering porting out to Digi unlimited if they still have those
