The rm20 unlimited maybe just temporary.
I using it on iPad but not able to tethering.
However I can tethering from my iPhone or using it on a 4g modem router and share out.
*
ah i see.. thanks for the input, i am getting free sim from unifi gonna see how it goes. if normal not unlimited, 10gb free from unifi mobile sim should be able to tether no problem right?

Just get a MiFi...

I'm using one. Huawei E5770s-320, supports band 5 and 38. But does not support band 40.  sweat.gif
*
plan to use short term only for now so not planning to invest too much on it. is it that if it can support any of the band listed then should be fine? I saw ipad can support band 5.

if i gonna use a modem, what band should i look into? why i saw ppl say band 5 is not supported but everywhere else saying unifi mobile only using band 5?

Most places where Unifi mobile has 4G coverage will have Band 5.  The places with Bands 38/40 (faster performance) as well are a bit more limited at the moment.

i see.. i just got my unifi mobile sim, i try LTE discovery and saw i am in band 40 area smile.gif tonite bring home and try see if 19th floor ok or not. so far speed test looks decent, 30Mbps DL 10Mbps UL. ping 87ms. if okay then tomorrow i will go cancel my streamyx, can save rm90 per month lol.

are those mifi showing at 1st page is the only device that support those unifi mobile? tenda seems to be cheapest but quality dont know lol

selow mcm kura2....

most of the ppl take the modem and use digi infinite sim into it.... mostly sign up terminate on the next day... data pool too small. the modem is gooding rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif

u also can use it for unifi mobile prepaid which it's release few months ago. now it have promo RM20/week u get unlimited hotspot n quota. it's still better than their current postpaid plan.
*
digi infinite sim line ok ka? unifi mobile at peak hours slow gila babi 1-2mbps max.

hard to said and hard to explain. coz different location different speed and different tower and different congestion issue.

buy a prepaid and test it out. if speed not bad, directly convert to i150. hp/ipad signal is weak, if good them get a modem. everything should be fine and better than streamyx if u have no option for unifi or others fiber.
*
okok.. now i150 still available?

sweat.gif sweat.gif digi is nvr famous for their network speed and strength. luckily i have a spare sierra 330u to use digi LTE band 7. unifi mobile is congested becos of the free sim lo..

this is because Unifi is fuking congested without enough infrastructure to support the users. 1 way to do it is throttle, same like rationing. TM had been like that before, they roll out Unifi like mad cow and their infra cannot support and ppl getting shitty speed, same like their streamyx.

TM being TM.
