QUOTE(Gregar Forte @ Apr 3 2018, 09:54 AM) Yep so far only webe postpaids are capped. Nothing we can do right now except for make complaint through the formal channel and lastly hope. Just change to another carrier if you feel the service is unacceptable. They won’t make a move unless the sales statistics speak. |

QUOTE(stephantsen @ Apr 24 2018, 01:03 PM) one plus 5 should be support band 38/band 40. Band 5 is not the reason which the downlink speed is low, it’s due to the bandwidth allocated is only 5Mhz on the selected band. Of course it might due to other factors such as the choice of end device, the distance, the interference and etc...if your speed is around 5 mbps then it will very high possibility that you are on band 5. other telco doesnt use band 5 thats why they can easily go over 5mbps. if you want higher speed perhaps you can try to lock your network to band 38 or band 40, if you are in coverage then you are lucky, the speed will goes around 70mbps |

I feel that unifi mobile should implement voice over wifi and VoLTE ASAP and integrate the unifi wifi with unifi mobile using EAP-SIM authentication. In this case at least they have alternative to solve the indoor coverage issue in some shopping malls.

Band 5 is fine if it is only used for one device. Hopefully the band 38 or 40 can be rolled out faster to cover most places.

Hi, has anyone tried to input the IMS APN on Samsung Galaxy A5 2016? I know the phone can be used for VoLTE in india but I am not sure if I can enable it to work with unifi mobile.
It’s quite irritating that the connection always drop to 3G whenever a voice call is made. |

Excuse me, may I know if anyone has successfully setup the IMS APN to a VoLTE capable android phone? I tried to create the APN with IMS setting but it fails to initiate both data and voice services.
Btw I am using Mi A1. |

QUOTE(aizamev @ Jul 1 2018, 10:22 PM) notice that some area unifi mobile roaming to LTE on 50211 service. at 1st no data connection. then i set on roaming at wifi modem and there you go, LTE on 50211 is more reliable. speed test showed it spike up to 30mbps then drop to 10mbps cause i use bebas plan. normally unifi mobile connected to 502153 service. Yeah sometimes it shows up as TM Touch in my mobile router, so I guess TM integrates legacy P1 and TM Touch’s base stations alongside with the new unifi mobile’s base stations.check on web, 502153 is under Packet one (p1) and 50211 is under telekom malaysia. |

QUOTE(stevenlee @ Jul 19 2018, 02:51 PM) RM20 weekly for 10mbps is still cheap... It's maybe of the 850Mhz band. It's penetration of obstruction is better.as long as it steady 10mbps like landline broadband, it is good enough... i tested digi unlimited RM8 package, Celcom Broadband and Yoodo... all give suck speed.. hardly hit 5mbps at my house.. Unifi steadily 10mbps all time when downloading. |

QUOTE(aizamev @ Jul 29 2018, 10:46 AM) new campaign run by unifi mobile, suppose end in september but they decided to stop it. If they don’t come up with something attractive, they will be eaten up in the mobile service sector. TM does not have exclusivity like its fixed line business and there is not many reason for people to stick to its mobile service where there are so many competitive offerings in the market.previously i had mention that bebas unlimited plan will continue until september because person inside unifi told me the plan will continue until latest campaign finish. but now, since the campaign already stopped, i'm not sure bebas unlimited end by july or september. person inside unifi also not saying anything why the campaign had to stop. the said every month can win car. there is 3 honda jazz, 3 myvi but now only 1 will be given. must be they face something bad. i really hope bebas unlimited will continue forever...... |

I think TM has little time to come out with something hebat for the mobile service as of now... it has been a busy months for them after the pressure from Communication and Multimedia Ministry.

QUOTE(kevyeoh @ Nov 16 2018, 09:39 PM) So glad I get to use unifi mobile ... compared to digi ... unifi mobile coverage is much better... especially indoors ... Digi at some places indoors totally no data . I do notice the coverage improvement when I was in Malaysia last weekend, especially along the south corridor of the north south highway. I wonder who holds the rest of the 850Mhz other than TM... it is a good band though. |

Hi, I have a strange issue on UniFi mobile. When I enable VoLTE on my Mi A1, I am able to place outgoing call but incoming call will fail. Are you guys facing the same issue or there is some solution?
