must use android 7
work with MTK too

If ya want to help the comunity, install cellmapper app and share the data. Must go around the tower for correct tower location. Just found out not all tower with many antenna actually have 4G LTE for xxx operator. Telco tower near you home dosent guarenty 4G come from there too.

Best result with dual sim dual 4G dual standy. Both sim slot support 4G at the same time.

If you're B618s-22d, people said it doesn't show on modem pages.
If it's B618-65d, then log-in to modem > settings > system > device information. It shows there.
Oops, are u asking about checking connected LTE band and mhz?

Been test it about 1 week and in my point of view.

The area I always go is 3.5G or less, which even I got a lot lte quota still unusable, when the time I need use waze in emergency situation and totally can't use at all, like force people to buy 1gb 3G plus 1gb lte which is not a good price.

I'm seriously thinking of switching from Hotlink (I feel quite useless) to this Unifi Mobile. I just checked on the Unifi website but there seems to be very little information on the data plan of this Unifi Mobile. Or perhaps I wasn't checking on the right page.

Can someone just give me some quick details on this Unifi Mobile which I cannot seem to find on the website? Just 2 simple questions.

1. What is the data plan available? How much do we need to pay monthly to keep the SIM card active? On the FAQ page, I only get to see the reload amount options which are RM10, RM30, RM50 and RM100. Are these reload for 1 month period? Meaning if you reload RM10, this will keep the line active for 1 month before you need to reload again?

2. What are the data plans available for internet ?

For Hotlink, the minimum monthly pass (reload) is RM30 to keep the link active for one month. For this reload, there is only 2GB for 1 month (too little) but they give 30 GB of Happy Hour which I think is useless as 1GB that is given for each day is only for 1 hour only.

Meaning, with Hotlink, for RM30 per month you get 2GB + 30GB (1 GB for 1 hour/day which I feel is useless). I am thinking of switching to Unifi Mobile if the rates and plan is better.

Bloody shit. Looks like this Ookyo is a much better choice than the useless Hotlink. Just checked the Ookyo webpage and found this:-

1. Unlimited Internet for 4 apps of your choice + 5GB high speed internet. Only RM 30 for 30 days. No contract.
2. Use unlimited internet every day, all the time. No weird hours

WHat about Unifi Mobile? I may just switch to Ookyo by today as the plan looks too good when compared to Hotlink. Too bad I didn't know about this earlier but better late than never. The 1 hour Happy Hour rubbish with Hotlink is useless and the main reason I need to switch to something else.

For mobile prepaid, just apply for sim and choose your number (if not MNP) at their website. You can choose to collect the sim yourself or pay 10/- for delivery to you.

Once active install their mobile app, all their addons are there for purchase.

Briefly for 30/- add-on , you get 4 gb LTE (2gb shared 3G/LTE and 2gb LTE only).

There is no expiry as long as you use at least once every 90 days. That means the data will be carried forward forever as long as you do not stay dormant more than 90 days ( currently this is not strictly enforced yet, reports from users indicate even if dormant more than 90 days, line still can be used). Which means you do not need to top up every 30 days like keep hotlink to stay active.

If you fancy unlimited data, there are various addons. For e.g 20/- will buy you unlimited data for 7 days at capped speed of 10 Mbps. Also check out their promo of 55/- for unlimited data for 30 days (10mbps).
