Really? I didn't realise  that..My phone support VoLTE, but the VoLTE indicator didn't appear at all. Maybe need to do some setting on the phone . Need to ask Unifi to enable or not?
*
What's your phone model? AFAIK, unifi mobile VoLTE only works on certain brands and models, i.e. most of the Huawei and Samsung flagship devices, even iPhones aren't supported yet.

No need to call them to enable, it is activated automatically, just plug and play if the service is available.

I not asking for free.....
I asking is there any telco offer similar package like Unifi where we can subscribe after we finish use the package we previously subscribe..
Example...
Today, I can subscribe to Unifi mobile rm50 data package..
I don’t hv to subscribe again or pay until I finish using the data...
I only subscribe when the data is finish and my sim is still active for months as long as I using it
*
For Unifi Bebas, your validity also 90 days starting from day 1 you activated the addon.
Then you need make calls/topup/addon BEFORE next 90 days to remain actives.

QUOTE(Rudd @ Aug 10 2018, 09:02 AM)
Yeah, it would be nice if other 4 players are using same method as unifi when it come to validity.
*
Actually mostly players was offered long validity, except Umobile and Hotlink...
XOX with MNP get 28 months validity...
Topup TRON and get 1 year validity?
The rest can extend with RM25-38 annually.

I was tested with both VoLTE phones in differences towns/cities, maybe is your area CELL TOWERS not support VoLTE?
Example my hometown was not showing HD calls, but when calling in city my phone showed HD calls and it's very clear.

Telco can check your phone model before allowing you to connect to VoLTE network (as well as other services), there are few ways to disable this checking, just browse XDA and you'll be able to find them (if you are a tech-savvy person la biggrin.gif )

Most likely, so far I am able to use VoLTE on band 5, 38 and 40, maybe certain places don't have VoLTE yet just like what you said, but VoLTE is quite buggy on my Note8, sometimes need to switch on airplane mode and switch off again to connect to VoLTE on same location and tower doh.gif

Only popular models get the support nowadays because VoLTE and VoWiFi (WiFi Calling) both require extra settings from device manufacturer and telco to ensure these technologies can work on their devices.

tongue.gif tongue.gif Since you are just low usages user, why not just MNP to OneXOX Black B10?
You get 28 months validity and 1GB monthly (rollover) and 20 mins free calls, call/sms is also lower?

The Unifi coverage map is too optimistic for 4G coverage. For example, the map shows near blanket 4G coverage for Penang island, but walking around town I kept getting dropped to H, especially indoors. And once it goes down to 3G, it's very hard to get back to 4G (have to turn on and off Aeroplane Mode).

Guys, why my phone when on VoLTE, I can get HD calls but no internet line? I'm using Huawei y7 prime and in settings enable 4G.

Edit: In the settings > more > mobile network, if I turn on VoLTE calls I lose internet connection but still can call/receive calls.

Yoodo not able send SMS to 5-digits numbers.
My XOX kept failed to send SMS, but remove International Code is send-able.
Big 4 players don't have TAC/SMS issues, heard some MNVO(s) might got some issues OUTGOING (incoming should be OK).

haha, actually MNP is very hassle-free, can just left old sim with agents and let him/her settle for you.
Otherwise online MNP also very conveniences.

Did the 4G icon become 3G when you receive call?

Or go to settings and phone status, check the network type when you receive call to confirm.

Becoz many uncle/aunties donno/unable to reply/follow SMS instructions...
So after applied MNP, just left old sim with agents to complete the remaining process. (new sim was ready once agent contact it's complete.)
