hello ,

I really really cannot understand this

Unifi Mobile unlimited one week for 20 Ringgit ..

Then what is the point of me paying 209 for my unifi 50..

I am just a casual surfer ... meaning .. just browsing internet .. downloading some movie .. watching you tube ... ..

the present connection unifi 50 .. is more then enough .. for my usages

BUt with this new unifi mobile going for unlimited usages on LTE connections .. its sounds like i am paying too much for my current .. usages of unifi 50 ..

mathematically.. shows that .. IF i go for unifi Mobile.. topup by the . week .. and get a good LTE MIFI devices .. it will be far more cheaper then what i am paying now ..

Do you agree .. on my view ...????

please comment comment /// cheers

if im not mistaken, that unlimited weekly pass is a special limited time offer. with more new plans coming out, it remains to be seen if it will be continued. in the meantime, just enjoy while u still can.

You are behind time. Free Unifi sims already available past 7 months.

Another 2 weeks and we will all find out whether they maintain the plans or change them, because the current offers supposed to end on 31 July.

The disadvantage of Unifi Mobile is it is still behind others in coverage area and the speed performance is not too good with their common band 5. However if you are in Band 38 area it's speed is excellent.

So far from personal experience, I can get best results with band 38, up to 60mbps with 4 bars (out of 5) inside my home using the free 20gb x 5 sims that I applied. However you have to find a phone or 4g router that connects at that frequency.

The unlimited add-on offer speed is of course capped at 10mbps which is acceptable. Only the expensive high speed addon is at full speed.

Past few months I have been using hotspot from both phone and now router Huawei E5186-22a to connect to my Android box/4kTV to Acestream p2p world cup matches, download movies P2P, watch full resolution youtube/Netflix etc. to my heart's content.

I really hope they continue with their current addons.

He said previous experience. So should be old webe broadband. Last time people complain they even suspend account and ask  to go make Statuory declaration in order to activate back the account.

The old webe postpaid unlimited plan. Such a pain in the ass. Now re-branded as unifi postpaid.

hopefully they not do the same for the prepaid. cause at my house there is no unifi or streamyx available. we just rely on unifi mobile unlimited plan.

What I am saying is Unifi prepaid is still cheaper than postpaid 99/-. Summore can hotspot unlimited.

Yes I think it is cheaper also especially if one wants to sign up uniform mobile postpaid becos of data.

unifi mobile 4G speed is really fast I would say, the coverage is also quite good.

It supports all the unifi bands, but you can't lock the fastest bands you want and it can't do CA (which is not needed if your area don't have it). Anyway since your coverage map only 3g you better test on phone first.

I suggest you wait until after July before you buy, as their unlimited plans might change then. They might even impose things like blocking of devices other than phones, restrict hotspot etc. You never know.

Hello,,,

I was on overseas posting working ..l just got back to Malaysia .

At the moment I am also using digi wireless broadband ..by paying postpaid .

This unifi mobile seems to look very interesting on their BeBas.. packages ..

I do not mind if the free packages no longer available for me .

So long as the BeBas packages is available then I will be happy ..that is ..of course with the condition of the reception. On 3g or LTE....

I need advise on the following .

1) any good expriences user for Pandan perdana area ( good reception of LTE????

2) any good recommend of Mifi Device to be uses with this unifi mobile SIM card ..

Thank you for your reply posting ...cheers

Yes, you can. Just login the account with mobile number and password without putting in the SIM card and using WiFi.
