Also, anyone complaining unifi for the speed cap?
*
Can't complain because they didn't promise unlimited speed. If you buy the High Speed add-on then can complain if below 10 Mbps

Out of curiosity I subscribed to 5/- 1 day unlimited Bebas add-on, and noticed (compared to same subscription few weeks ago) at busy hour it is so unreliable that it is no longer worth getting. The speed rapidly drops between less than 5 to below 1 mbps.

This is surely Webe all over again , hardly 5 mths after launch of Unifi mobile.

Guys, I'm surveying a MiFi for the unifi Sims but I see on shoppe & other online shopping sites they state that their MiFi supports Unifi. Any updated models for the MiFi?

Thanks in advance.

At least U Mobile is using more common LTE bands unlike UniFi Mobile which not all devices support.

Im thinking of using unifi as primary line. Other than supportability are there other problems?

Oh and Iphones are supported right? Thanks

Coverage issue?

I have no issue using it with iPad, so should be OK. Get a free SIM to try first before committing to it, you have nothing to lose anyway with free SIM.

I might port one number from either digi or u mobile to unifi mobile as a secondary voice line since it’s a lot cheaper to keep.

Gonna decide which one to ditch, very sayang to waste number...

That's true, Umobile coverage is really shit.

When one assess coverage, it shouldn't actually be the location of the 4G coverage, but what happens if there is no 4G coverage, i.e. the "fallback line".

When unifi mobile 4G has no coverage, it falls back to 3G tapping on the celcom network. Celcom 3G has a pretty large coverage, and surfing speed is ok for the usual apps like whatsapp, emails, etc.

When Umobile 4G has no coverage, it falls back on the Maxis 2G network. Which is very shitty, you can't even open a simple email with that.

That's my experience with Umobile, and why I have switched to unifi mobile smile.gif

some corections here
unifi mobile 4G @ webe unlimited 79 can use celcom 3G data
unifi bebas split quota 3G / 4G. 3G quota used first before using 4G quota. Once 3G quota depleted line connected but no data for 3G.
Umobile 4G fall back to umobile 3G.

You used a lot of 3G for unifi bebas...?

I’ve used close to 7gb of 4G, but only around 1gb for 3G, granted I was within Klang Valley all the time...

So my LTE quota depletes faster than 3G...

One cannot fallback to itself. It fallbacks to other providers. Your umobile 4G to 3G is not a valid comparison.

Of course, unifi mobile always uses the 4G first, thus your 3G cannot jalan.

I'm staying in an area where there's no umobile 4G and no unifi mobile 4G as well. Previously my line is always maxis 2G. Now I changed to unifi mobile, I always get 3G

Dear all,
I use this unifi mobile standby for receive call only.

May I know how to make sure it is active?
How can I know when the line be deactivated if I didn't call at all?
