If you intend to ask your family member to sign/switch certain postpaid plan or MNP to other telxo in future, the person have to be owner and residing at Malaysia and able to go to center in person.

Otherwise, if you merely wish to reload to prolong the validity or keep the sim alive..not necessary to change ownership.

DiGi is now improve a lot with the wide 4g coverage throughout the rural area. These few months I am doing cell mapping via the Cellmapper for some areas of N9, Melaka, and Johor. I would say, if there is Maxis cell broadcasting the signal, digi will be there as well.

Yup, not all for some area. My area however only Digi and Maxis performing well in term of coverage and speed. Celcom however even on full bar of LTE, the speed is just as good as 3G.

Luckily Port Dickson is still OK for most of them, only U Mobile is pretty bad there. Ironically, when U Mobile started its telco business, PD was one of the pioneer areas for its coverage expansion.
