i would suggest dtac, buy any dtac sim, u can subscribe to *104*397*9# 10Mbps unlimited quota 39baht/days , or *104*398*9#199 baht/weeks, can even buy extend validity @ *113*30*9# 30days cost 2 baht, *113*60*9# 60days cost 4baht, *113*90*9# 90days cost 6 baht, *113*180*9# cost 12 baht,

just simply buy a sim without any data, top up the dtact sim then buy the data plan manually yourself is much cheaper,..dtac also have unlimited @ speed 512Kbps, 1Mbps, 2Mbps or 4Mbps,.. i personally prefer the 10Mbps,..

in thailand, the unlimited plans are speed capped hence you won't be getting max speed.

for volume based plan, there is no speed cap hence you get max speed.

imho, any operator is good enough for casual visitors.

So far I only use dtac since is Digi sister company, no matter 3G or 4G I get max 9-10.5Mbps at most time regardless of what band they are on, quite impressive their connections is 90%+ stability if compare to our Digi or other malaysia ISP. Unlimited quota plan all come with capped speed, so choose the speed u want, if quota plan, they are more than 90Mbps for sure if your phone support 4G+ in Thailand band.

Can my umobile number port in to digi postpaid RM38 without going to prepaid first?

Went to Digi, the guy help me apply for RM80 plan then after 7 days change to the RM38 plan.

The calls for the postpaid 38 plan aren't really unlimited, it's capped at 1000m which is around 16h. Should be enough for most people but its not really unlimited per se
