any idea how to retrieve back my ancient account in lyn? it was registered using hotmail..and i lost the email account too.

You can PM the admin to see if they can help. But i think it is hard to prove that you are who you are. Since you lost the email and i believe most recovery is using email address.

What do you mean by lost your hotmail email account? Forget your email id or Lost password? If you have the email address, you can retrieve it back right? Then you can reset the password for your old lowyat account.

Long and tedious process but can be done by retrieving the information to your old hotmail account and resetting the password. That said, I believe you went for the easier option of just creating a new account with a new email address instead. Btw, welcome back ✌

well it was 7 years back when i was active posting and reading in lyn til life catchup on me with work and problems.

i remember my hotmail address but not its password.
so i cant retrieve my hotmail now. setting a secondary email or handphone for retrieving hotmail werent a concern at that time.

well i do remember some of my chat messages in inbox. would it counts?

It depends on what verification information Microsoft support wants from you.

i was referring to lyn account, inbox messages.
i doubt it will be successful with microsoft.
haha if cant get back old account nevermind.
i made a lengthy post before i bought my first car proton exora bold and made a review and comparison with other cars. kinda miss it.

Hi seven, i am facing the same problem, i have emailed helpdesk but i am yet to get a reply, i have lost the email that i registered it with but i do have the series of emails from 2013 regarding my old account, is it possible to retrieve it?
