Hi. I want to buy one that with basic functions like heart rate, calories burned, distance (for jogging), sleep tracker.

Been using phone only to track my jogging, but too heavy to keep phone in pocket.
Wanna start back my swimming, I'm looking for a watch that can track swimming activities as well..

Dont need the smart phone functions like receive phone call yadayada...

Huawei band 2 pro with gps seems to have the function, and within my low budget, but it's not available in official huawei/honor website. So not sure bout buying it from lazada (original?)

Going through fitbit website, too many models, plus the price tag too high.. same with garmin..

Any other recommendation?

You can try Xiaomi MiBand 2. It's cheap and it has all the functions a fitness tracker have except GPS.
I've been using it for almost a year before upgrading to Amazefit Bip.

I don't think MiBand 2 can track swimming because it is not waterproof, just water resistant. I don't swim so I can't comment too much on this.

The reason I upgraded to Amazefit Bip is because I lost my MiBand 2 sweat.gif
Amazefit Bip comes with GPS and it have always on display that works extremely well under direct sun. I wear it as my watch now lol.

It cannot track distance because MiBand 2 don't have built in GPS but can track number of steps and calories burned.

Hi genious boy, I saw your other post on the other thread asking the same question, so I assume that your budget is around 500.

If you love swimming a lot, there are so many trackers dedicated to the swimming activities like Moov Now and also Misfit Shine 2, both got something like swimming-specific algorithms. But I personally do not know how to swim,
lol, so I cannot comment on that, I just used basic fitness tracker.

But the thing is, I realized you also want that heart rate sensor features, all in all, what I can think of is the
Jawbone UP3, it is just the range of your price, so maybe between jawbone vs moov. However I do not check the exact price on the Lazada or any shopping site yet, I just concluded the price within the USD value.

**by the way, personally I still save some cash for the Ticwatch E, been reading and watching a lot of reviews, kind of really worth of it for that particular price (high specs but not very expensive)

I bought a Garmin vivosmart 3 for about 700 from Lazada.
The heart rate sort of matches a treadmill readings and I have been using it for swimming. There has to be some kind of training for the sleep tracking, a did it for the first few weeks, then too lazy. For walking and other activities, you need to set the beginning and end - Too lazy, it is quite elegant IMHO.

I used a Garmin Vivosmart HR for a year and is an amazing product. Responsive and easy to use. The only drawnback is the wrist belt replacement, mine last for a year of daily use (including high intensity work outs) but i can’t find a good replacement for it.

If you have an AIA Vitality policy. The FItbits go on discount. I bought my Charge 2 for about RM518.00 (with GST). I assume it'll be cheaper now. Fast delivery.

Depend on what is your activity is. For hiker sometimes they can use it to find the way out in case they are lost inside the forest/mountain.

i wouldn't say way cheaper anymore... since even garmin vivoactive 3 now is rm999.
imo that extra rm200 is worth the price difference.
the other thing also is how much can u tahan the flat tire look of the amazfit.

whats the suitable fitness tracker for indoor gym activities like treadmill, indoor cycling & swimming? i was given mi band 2 as present but all it has is HR & steps. it can't detect my running & cycling coz most of the times my hands are holding the machine so the hand doesn't move. i think it's good for outdoor workout though. so i am thinking amazfit bip or pace can do the job but not sure..

bought at lazada. The seller's review seem to be good.
Bip is good too. The reason i choose band 4 is because of ATM5 rating & got swimming tracking. So far good enough for my needs.

I switched from Miband 4 to Garmin vivosmart 4. It is smaller and faster charging but battery runs out quickly. Overall for me it is better. It is 5 times more expensive.

Galaxy active / galaxy watch has one of the most accurate gps and step counters.

Mi band / honor are quite sampah in terms of accuracy, especially if you move your hands when you talk a lot.

It can easily overcount as much as 10-15%. Whereas samsung counts accurately even if you are walking while carrying heavy loads (so your hands dont move as much, or in fixed position).

I would only say the bad thing about the accuracy is the floors climbed tracker - can be somewhat inaccurate but maybe the floor was not high enough lol.

I’m happy with my Samsung galaxy watch. Not too expensive like those of garmin, suunto and most important is accurate enough to help me track the calories burnt during exercise. I have been using it to aid my weight loss and it didn’t disappoint me at all.

No love for decathlon here?

You can get a GPS watch for RM400-550 or a basic HRM watch for about RM69.

I've never used before though but should be worthwhile considering while on a budget.

I switched from MI band 4 to VivoSmart 4 a few months ago.
Pros: design
Cons: the screen should be turned on automatically in the manner of Apple watch but often it doesnt work, which is quite frustrating. Except that I'm pretty much happy about my new fitness tracker.

I use it for time and stepper mostly.
