Galaxy active / galaxy watch has one of the most accurate gps and step counters.

Mi band / honor are quite sampah in terms of accuracy, especially if you move your hands when you talk a lot.

It can easily overcount as much as 10-15%. Whereas samsung counts accurately even if you are walking while carrying heavy loads (so your hands dont move as much, or in fixed position).

I would only say the bad thing about the accuracy is the floors climbed tracker - can be somewhat inaccurate but maybe the floor was not high enough lol.

+1 with this. My colleague who used a previous Mi Band complained that his pedometer and Mi Band aren't tally. biggrin.gif tongue.gif

I’m happy with my Samsung galaxy watch. Not too expensive like those of garmin, suunto and most important is accurate enough to help me track the calories burnt during exercise. I have been using it to aid my weight loss and it didn’t disappoint me at all.

I'm looking at fitness band/watch (Mi/Amazfit) vs chest strap (Polar). Anyone has experience using these products? Main objective is to track heart rate during exercise

No love for decathlon here?

You can get a GPS watch for RM400-550 or a basic HRM watch for about RM69.

I've never used before though but should be worthwhile considering while on a budget.

I switched from MI band 4 to VivoSmart 4 a few months ago.
Pros: design
Cons: the screen should be turned on automatically in the manner of Apple watch but often it doesnt work, which is quite frustrating. Except that I'm pretty much happy about my new fitness tracker.

I use it for time and stepper mostly.
