iPad Pro 12.9" - 2nd gen (2017), problem with unresponsive screen

hi guys, not sure if anyone here experience screen problems with their ipad Pro 12.9", I'm using the 2nd gen and often get this problem with screen not responsive. it happens once in a while, not something that will get on my nerves, but my brother has access to it for his gaming, mobile legends. he has reported that the screen is not responsive at times, and obviously changes the gameplay with unresponsive screens (joystick doesn't respond constantly - when he holds the joystick knob, it get cuts off every now and then.. even tapping on screens sometimes will get this problem)
I have googled up and apparently this is not something new to the ipad pro users, so far no luck getting any fixes yet, anyone here getting this problem as well? pls share thanks
EDIT: hoping to get it fixed so that I don't need to send in for warranty (not even sure if they will accept it, as the problem comes sporadically)

I got same problem too on my 2nd generation ipad pro and already send for warranty last Saturday...read from other forums seen this screen freeze issue is quite a serious problem for many ipad pro users, It may be defect of the hardware design or software bugs, but currently Apple still have no ideas to fix this problem, and they keep quiet and pretend nothing happen to cover this case...i own 5 ipad at past and non of them have such issue, even the ipad 2 still running well. very disappointed to Apple products and qc now days...if problem still remains after warranty send and Apple still no further solution to fix it after this, than this may be the last Apple product I purchased

If im not mistaken there isn’t any fixes for it yet, they got a brand new replacement but we know such cases won’t happen in Malaysia..really hope something can be done here, I have been stuck with this issue for a few months now.. and recently I have gotten this auto restart issue (a very quick restart without having the white apple logo, only 5 sec restart back to screen) which happens about 3-4 times a day (same as the screen freeze thing), just updated from 11.3.1 to 11.4 and will monitor if it fixes the auto restart..

Got my iPad Pro replacement from Machine service center this Monday. My replacement device come with iOS 10 preset. Testing it around 2days, never had a single intermittent screen or any other lag issues, it works flawless and buttery smooth ! After restore all my backup and setting , yesterday I decide to update the firmware to iOS 11.4. Since update till then, my replacement device works perfectly ! So After my few day testing, I can confirmed that the intermittent screen , lag or touch screen slow response is a hardware problem not software issue. So for those ppl who have such or similar issue on your iPad Pro, if still under warranty, my advise is, don’t waste your time for waiting software update to solve the problem, just go claim it.
