how many of u getting the P20/Pro to replace ur daily driver or as the Second phone?

read some changing from xiaomi's, LG's, Onepluses...

i currently own some xiaomi's n LG, my mi6 ceramic is n will remain as my primary phone...considering the P20 myb the Pro as secondary phone ie media and snaphappy

im a fan of neither brand. but i do agree wit your points. Personally i think samsung phones r boring n i almost sHun them but nonetheless samsung flagship r really great u gotta give them that

their flagship r so so so good its turning monotonous oredy ,get it?

P20 camera might be fantastic but has its quirks and ofcos the price wise, u pay what u get, possibly a better than a S9 in one dept and lesser in most depts vs S9. but which supercars have no quirks Most of them does. so is d P20

i use Clear quality TPU Casing on all my phones. i never use other anything else...i WANT to showoff the back phone haha n TPU clear casing let u take out n put ur hp back in easily and coveniently so can intimate wit it during private times lol

I use clipstack on my phones sinnce ages. Wat do u think. Its direct, wit favorite function n simple straight forward to me.

P20 Digi family rm150 (3lines total, +rm10= 70GB) u get P20 for rm1119 seems ok to me

Guys i made the family plan Digi 150 already

Now i can contract for P20 phone need pay RM 1,119 for the P20 Midnight blue this price ok ka before i pull d trigger this afternoon...cuz nobody mention abt this sked got hidden cost etc

Did anyone compare to other telco any telco good offer? Or ppl jus dont want get tied to contract is it that explains why d cold response telco purchase phone plan?

Wow the video comparison really took me for surprise i almost tot it is rigged...but very timely as ive been mauling over the camera differences btw the two
the P20 really done a significant job ..especially d consistency part and true to natural . The consisitency is preferred

The P20P is more like a risky business, d few modes ,ie 10MP standard, HDR, Aperture, we usually use daily, they produce rather noticeable differences...not suitable for quick casual snapper like me, but the photos in (definitely better in) HDR is more dramatic n ideal for social posting. The non HDR is less than ideal than P20..its where the HDR compensate for the P20Pro IMHO whereas in P20, HDR or not, yield rather consistently n more natural light but in fact (P20) personally takes hands down better photo than P20pro (nonHDR) So this is arguable to each different user due to factors

My personal conclusion is according to me usage/need, The P20 is no slouch compare to P20P n at times supercede the P20Pro intermittently(rmbr d shadow on d brick,salad,bokeh) but the P20P is more unpredictable therefore could yield more fantastic result but requiresalittle more effort n trials definitely for the enthusiat n if on HDR only then for posters however HDR on P20Pro is NOT always yield good result (rmbr the salad n probably other more)

Im jus thinking they probably made d P20 camera first because d PQ is so CONSISTENTLY GOOD n detailed ( night mode) that Huawei probably decided to slap a more adventurous camera on P20Pro and say - Guys, lets ramp this one up xD therefore the more capable HDR than non HDR P20P photos albeit a fully eye candy ready photo

I also prefer P20 compact to be my 2nd hp...My current is mi6 128gb

Jus now at sengheng compare both video running local video (possibly 4k) file concurrently n display on P20Pro seem warmer altho all settings is same n default n readmode off. The video on amoled P20Pro seem sharper or was it my psychology althou d screen size difference to me is almost negligible...but im aware d amoled will be more energy efficient

That said (size display), d photo camera differences,water proof i dont mind so The doubt me is d 6GB (cuz my mi6 also 6gb)...im still very split in opinion..previously P20, now more like P20Pro cuz bigger for gaming n battery. 6gb surely is ideal

3k a phone is arguably a luxury item.

3k for alot of ppl is alot of opportunity cost, not question of afford or not but much opportunity cost to lose. It may look simple buy or not to buy but when involve many life commitments, it will n can become an intricate question.

Otherwise, why do have entry level smartphone, budget smartphones, budget mid range ...why dont jus sell all rm3k phone so many market so complicated

Lastime lastyear i bought tronsmart 3 pin 3 usb slot QC3.0 rm89 very competitive ...local retail at here although rare is selling ard rm165. 1 slot QC3 3pin abt rm70-90 don rmbr

If im allowed to summarize in my opinion, btw maxis n Dg has d cheaper hp price but need upfront alot (almost double more if less than a year wit Dg) than Maxis which iinm can have 0 downpayment means walk out fr maxis wit hp without paying but in d longrun, its d more expensive than Dg (if not most expensive of possibly d 3/or all telcos as soyacincai has pointed out before in d their extensive telco hp bundle table comparison for at least S8/+ era) since u get to walk off free hp witout paying anything . Clcm im not sure as i have always tot their plan is more expensive probably worth it if u got use so much of their plan than can consider. Partly also because clcm seem have their own (loyal) customer or customer who think Clcm has d better line (area dependent thou) so seemingly clcm customer less to sway like Dg/maxis/umobile customer fr my observations
