In that case, can I suggest you to get the cheapest possible for your wife. Both are fine smart phone, and she won't be able to tell the difference. Go get the cheapest ones, save money.

P20 is not hype, but mainly for geek. In most cases you can't tell the difference. For me in your situation, probably S9 comes first because its water proof, which has more practical value. P20 pro is also similarly water proof but not p20.

Generally my take on how to buy hp is this: If you are into photography, go get p20. If use more on listening to music, do some research on Audio playback, which I think LG V30 is the best (not sure, but I think so, go google it). If watch youtube, go get a unit with better display.

It seems that nobody know the answer for my question...sad...

Why don't you test it yourself ?

Block one lens at a time and shoot a photo. Test all three lens and see which one made any difference.

I tried a few hp before in the past. At some stage I do listen to some music at night etc. After using a decent earphone I do noticed a couple of good audio reproduction hp. I tried Sony, nokia pureview 808 and 1050, iphone, huawei p9 and now a nexus 6P.

I noticed that 6P's audio quality is rather below average although it has two front facing speakers etc. So I stop listening to music with my device technically. Since then I start to take note of audio quality with earphone on HP. I encourage you all to take note on this too. Huawei p9 was only just average. Sony is really good. Samsung too I heard (never owned one).

Its something good to know.

the P20 Pro supports the aptX codec for ‘CD-like’ sound when transmitting music wirelessly, so if your headphones or speakers are compatible you have the potential for a more refined stream. smile.gif
