No offence taken. Correctly anticipated the flak I will receive anyway.

I was playing with the P20P and came away very impressed. Which is why I popped in here for a read.  I am a heavy travelling user and can be without a charging opportunity for days so endurance is core requirement.

No use for a supercar when it runs out of fuel all the time. Even my 20k QC3 power bank would struggle to keep it fed.

Endurance has always been a pet peeve for me for flagships. Why can't / won't they put in a bigger battery? There are plenty of us users forced to run midrange phones because the flagships just don't last long enough. Back then, the galaxy note flagships I used had removable batteries which mitigated the battery life issues.

Now the question is, which chipset is more efficient. The Snapdragon 835 or the Kirin 970.

I'm pretty sure there's no drop protection for Clearcoat too which is why I can't bring myself to spend 200 or so on it.
