All the sifu. I am a new owner of P20 Pro. Very happy with the phone since i bought it but there was a problem. My camera video doesn't work. Reset my phone then it worked....for about a day then the problem came back on again. Huawei SC advised me to clear data of the camera if the problem arises but it doesn't solve the problem. I have sent them two utube video to showcase my problem. Still waiting for reply for my second video.
Can anyone offer any advice?

Today FB got new update.
After updated all become normal, games no issue at all n back to live again.

have u try hard reset the phone ? after hard reset with fresh OS try using the video. if still persist might be hardware problem

Yes i reset the phone and it worked well....for a day or so then the problem came back.

I bought new unit for cheaper than that from another forumer though. Also saw a trader selling at cheaper price than that here on LYN.

Im not a P20 or p20 pro owner but try this .
1. change resolution
2. find the option in the Phone so that the camera app support for the fullscreen mode. (there is somewhere in settings to add this)

why i ask to try cause it seems the full screen button appear below before the thing stop recording.

Yes i noticed that. Tried various setting on full screen and resolution but it didn't help

The camera software got new update?
After clear n factory reset still come back the issue n it should ic board affected.
Should bring it to sc to show them n claim it.

I have Camera FV and Open Camera in my phone. Camera FV is the free version so video is not available. I could take video without any problem when i use open cameraq app

Seems like your default camera app is having issue since 3rd party apps can take video without any problems

The reason i haven't sent to SC are
1. Sold my old phone so no spare phone at the moment
2. Service centre not available in my town. hope to solve this problem myself if possible.
I had a firmware upgrade C636 version 2 days ago but it had no effect on the glitch....
