I’m here at Pyramid now, trying out the phone. My first impression is that it bears a very, very familiar look and feel to a certain fruit flagship phone. It’s like Huawei has gone the Xiaomi route, copy the best of two particular brands and tweak it a little and put a very attractive price on it. And judging by the crowd and response, it seems to be working!

Solid phone, worth the 3299. I’m not a fan of EMUI but this phone can make me look past it. Congrats all new owners!

I’ve now moved on to the maxis centre at Pyramid and there’s a S9+ next to a P20 Pro, well not exactly directly beside but close enough. Took a couple of shots and compared and honestly, they are both good and difficult to differentiate with the naked eye. So it’ll boil down to individual preference

Oh sorry, I was referring to the maxis one. It’s a P20 for RM1 with MOP188+one shared line of 48

I would say games that are graphics intensive and demands a lot of resources from the phone in terms of memory and processing power would be categorised as heavy. And yeah, most people who are into these know well enough to go with phones with SD processors or iOS.

I would never pay more for a different color, I think it’s a very unscrupulous business tactic from phone sellers who practice this.

Haha, same. I was gonna wait till the Mate 10 Pro got to 2500-2600 before I try it, and it’s about there now, but since the P20 Pro is better I’ll wait some more

I think what he meant is if the manufacturer doesn’t charge more, then by right the dealer shouldn’t. The manufacturer incurred the production cost, not the dealer.

Then can get this P20 Pro even cheaper. I’m in no hurry
