In JB on a business trip with a colleague who was one of those frustrated at Pyramid over the last weekend, but after scouting a couple of malls at JB last night, also couldn’t find stocks of the P20 Pro, haha. Looks like Huawei rushed the launch without sufficient stocks

You know why or not. These seller will prioritise customer for their physical shop cause of higher profit. (Qoo10 takes commission in terms of percentage for each of their sale. Hence they may give the stock we have paid for and reserved and pass it to physical customers first.
This is not the first time for Qoo10 seller. When Galaxy S8 was first launched, I faced this situation also.

hi all, I'm a mate 10 pro user. I love Huawei so much but my wife loves Samsung. I'm thinking of either buy a P20 non pro or a Galaxy S9 non plus version, can you guys convince me why I shld buy p20 over S9 ?? I think S9 has a better display, decent camera..that's all i like.. i like P20 design, very beautiful back casing design, but i don like P20 camera compare to Mate 10 pro..mate 10 pro is easier to access to Pro mode where P20 u got to swipe a few time to reach pro mode..but the display is not as nice as S9...give me some comments..

the s9 is perfect all rounder but the battery is average or below average
if the plus version is different story, you'll regret getting the non plus for s9
not sure for p20, but 3400 sound much better than s9 3000 mah
Reading this I guess lotsa ppl looking for P20 Pro. Go to all shops in pyramid and all say sold out. Anywhere I can get with a phone plans as all telcos like sold out.
The details for P20 non Pro are quite scarce. Actually does it have the same AI assisted Night mode as the Pro version? How much RAM does it consume after you boot up? How's the battery life? How many SOT per charge?
yes, P20 do have night as Pro version.. the results quite impressive (u could use on low light or backlight situation < personal opinion)
with my current usage, 3gb of ram is used and available about <1gb ram.. battery life is about 5 to 6 hours SOT.. but this is my usage pattern with 24/7 bluetooth on with smartwatch connected, office hours connected with my Jabra headset..
the battery life is okay for me to last 1 whole day from early morning till 12am sleeping time with 10%+ left..
i would summarize if normal usage without gaming, 5 hours SOT can be expected from this phone..
