Based on this site: https://www.mervisdiamond.com/blog/2014/01/...d-wedding-ring/, traditionally, engagement ring will be on the middle finger. But as time goes by, some people don't follow that tradition, so it is entirely up to you.
And yes 18k = 750. 750 represents 75% gold content i think.
