Not a recall iinm, just an update once u go for service. Kalau recall they already call the owners and publish it.
*
2 mths ago they din do it for my car...so next service need to remind them?

2 years old Persona, having this problem...
My driver side power window fail to roll up after wind down the window after I wind down to tag the security card to open the gate...Is that the 1st case of power window failure in new persona??

After park there whole morning, just now lunch drive out n come back can function back, only the initial wind up speed abit slow, then after some time the speed catch up to normal speed...so is this normal?

Motor or runchannel issue? Both front door have this issue...rear door window seldom open so far no issue occur

Can see some line on film.
Perhaps too thick already?
Lube it and try again.
Or send to SC and let them do for you.
*
those lines are from the lub I spray along the channel...

QUOTE(candidman78 @ Oct 7 2018, 09:55 AM)
For iswara era, the window need to use oftenly.
Mine work more than 15 yes still no failure.
A lot user didn't open it and lube it. Some even suggest don't use it or else will break.

My idea is use it to lube the gear before grease stuck with dirt.
*
UPDATE:
Just back from SC, they just use the air gun clean the run channel and spray more silicon lubricant then said settle...ask me to monitor for the issue reoccur or not...come back again if reoccur.

But get my ECU update as well...pedal response is better, hope will have save fuel effect like other said so.

Hey guys need help here.

So basically I had decided to re-tint the rear window of my persona as it got some bubbles.

And yeah the shop did told me that have risk for the defogger might be affected, and yeah I was just YOLO about it and agreed with it lol.

2 weeks later after the tint healing period ended, I've tested the defogger and found that few lines of the defogger are not working as per in the picture.

Is there any economical way to fix it? If yes, please enlighten me.

Thanks in advance!
*
well same thing happen to my iswara...only way to fix is chg the rear screen

Based on reports on the Iriz FL, these are the claimed updates done to the facelift:
http://www.funtasticko.net/info-proton-iri...aharu/#comments

1. 5 speed automatic replacing CVT
2. New infotainment system
3. Updated seat design and upholstery
4. New meter panel design
5. Revised front and rear bumpers and wheels(obviously)  tongue.gif
6. DRLs on high spec variant(maybe)

But of course, have to wait until next year to get the full details from Proton themselves. These are just reader observations from the outside.
*
change back to 5AT pula...so the CVT proton using proof to be not good

Not necessarily bro. It's more of a matter of them caving in to customers preference. Cvt is good for those who know how to use it well. And when used well, it potentially has better power delivery than a 5AT.

Yup I like the smooth feel of cvt...cant feel the gear shift of normal AT gearbox car...but only lag during the initial

need to readjust driving habit, cos i drive manual during weekday and drive persona at weekend n off day only
