Not necessarily bro. It's more of a matter of them caving in to customers preference. Cvt is good for those who know how to use it well. And when used well, it potentially has better power delivery than a 5AT.

Hi guys, 👏👏needed help here. today my car already reach 1000km for first service, but i didnt manage to book service at proton because i just got back from kampung today and i took this car on sat 30/12/2018(yeah it just only 4 days) Is it okay to exceed a bit from 1000km for first service like 1300-1500km? I stay near hospital sg buloh, if theres a walk in proton service centre that i can go today really help me a lot. Thank you

Yes, at the time of purchase, it was on the 31 december 2018.

I was at the platinum dealer proton.
She gave me RM2000 discount which is RM1500 for standard variant, plus RM500 from her commission and from her boss pocket.

Next, she told me to sign up to lock the deal, saying that if 2019 deal is better then i would be given the 2019 deal.
However if the 2018 model deal is better, I would proceed with the better deal.

Next, the color I want which is silver she had stock.

So comes 1 january 2019, immediately the discount for the proton persona standard was rm800 if not mistaken, that is what she told me.

So I proceed with the 2018 model deal.

I took loan for RM45000.
so I only paid RM550 for the extra insurance and did all the loan from RHB bank.

I got the new car for only RM550!

Hmm, still must continue paying till 8 years.

But then i am only fresh graduate, earning only around RM5K per month.

Unfortunately i have lost some images on the boot and spare tyre compartment sound proofing. But basically, i bought the foam, and stick as many as i can in 1 piece, in tight areas like the wheel wheel(metal part), rear quarter panel, i cut into smaller pieces and stick, i use a old lint roller to flatten it foam to make sure it sticks.
