Forgot to update here that i hv collected mine 5 days ago. Thank you to my superb SA Vincent818 for his dedication and willingness to entertain of all my questions and rants (my car reached very late, don't know what happened at the factory, probably too much order and their process was messed up). Pls buy Proton car from him, he will give u good discount.

The experience with Persona is quite good so far:
- When idling the engine sound is barely unnoticeable, very quiet though.
- CVT delay is expected. Quite nervous to move from traffic light stops or Tjunction.
- And i got Goodyear tyres instead of Silverstone.
- no rattling sound from dashboard.
Many things i haven't test yet such as HU functionalities, decentralized door function etc.

However, sometimes i feel there is some wired sound such as:
1) after shut down the engine.. Something like tetetetetet... Which is from passenger side and steering side. Not sure if it is normal to persona or what.
2) when accelerating, sometimes the engine sounds very funny.. fan spinning sound like bibibibibi.. The sound is not that strong, But if I listen carefully, i will notice the sound. Not sure if this is common to Persona.

As such, i will pay my first visit to Proton SC this weekend. I hope this visit is a pleasant visit.

Did u confirmed with sc that tetetetete sound is normal? If yes then i can eliminate no 1 issue already.

Just like you i park under the roof during the weekdays but weekends my car will be parked at the open space.

At the moment i decided not to replace the tint. I decided to probably stick to factory tint for a while.

My one week car just got new scratch. Donno who did that. Got that when parking at the road side. Suspect lorry did.

1- I started to have that after passing road with red line. It is not at the dashboard, it is coming from the backside. But it is slowly disappeared after that.
2- not experiencing that so far.
3 - i follow booklet recommendation not to drive above 90kmh if still below 1000km. So still not experiencing that yet.
4 - everyone has that. Its free package with cvt engine.

Kind of.. It's consistently make me feel uneasy especially when at T junction, round about and traffic light.


Actually I did checked and i am pretty sure it is not from the tools. It sound like "nyet nyet nyet nyet" which from backseat/backside. Only happened at the bumpy road or road with red stripes.

Talking about HU and GPS..
Do ur gps and speedometer (does it call as speedometer) reading is not sync?
For example gps show 75kmh while speedometer show 80kmh.
Mine always 5kmh lower at gps.

Is it normal? If not normal i want to get sc to recalibrate.

When reversing the car at the slope, do we really need to heavily press the accelerator? My car doesn't even move until i press the paddle so much. Light press doesn't work at all.
