What sprocket size(front and rear) you are using with FZ150i 2014 and after without engine modification? I'm looking to improve my bike's FC and to prolong farther mileage between Home and Office.

PS: Other than Yamaha Ori stock size...

for fz2014 the stock rear sprox is 43T.
however for fz diamond and round headlamp its rear sprox is 42T.

i am using 42T on my fz2014, since i bought the bike used, it is already there.

i dont think it is beneficial to go any lower than 42T on unmodified fz2014, simply because the engine doesnt have enough torque to pull the higher ratio. if you go lower than 42T, what you will encounter is the rpm will not go higher compared to before and hence your top speed will drop. also the acceleration will also suffer. but if maintain cruising rpm range within 6k-7k, you will have less fuel consumption when compared to 43T. i think 42T is the best compromise.

My experience of using 43T is way more fuel conserve than 42T. Full Tank can reach 430+KM with 43T. With 42T, the mileage drop 20+KM. bangwall.gif

you only relied on what was indicated on the speedo, without realising that actually you have just travelled similar distance as before.

when you use a different srocket ratio that standard, the calculation of distance travelled and speed is off.

but fun to play in USJ lah... maintain gear 2 & 3 saja.
the only thing kacau is the double stand and standard footpeg
sumpah tak berani nak turun lagi.

May I ask; for the fuel tank to reach 430km range, at what speed were you riding?
Is this on highway constant speed?
Or every day commuting?

Everyday commuting mixture of Highway and normal road. Speed is around 90-110kmh
