Tag not here not there. Forget it.

Tissot, Mido, Oris, Seiko, Rado, Longines are a much more respectable brand than Tag Heuer imho.

Tag has been a shit show these past few years and the second hand market is flooded with cheap tags for your pick if you like so no point wasting money on a new watch.

Even with Biver at the helm I doubt the watch community in general would see Tag in favourable light anytime soon. But that just an opinion from a WIS

i have both. a seastar tissot and a tag monaco. i find that i use the tissot more as its more reliable. it has rosak twice but fixed it cheap cheap no problem. been running from 2002. the monaco only on black tie events. but i use my fenix most of the time. so both watches are in the kotak only out on raya or special events.

nope... Tag bought a base movement from Seiko, modded it and deployed as their in-house Calibre 1887 to their Carrera which sparked an outrage among the WIS...

I have a Tag too but it was cheaper cos i bought it overseas...

design is something personal, buy it if you like it

but if you are at the RM10-15k range, there are other options you can consider compared to Tag in terms of reputation, movement, etc
