QUOTE(WA300 @ Mar 21 2019, 07:28 AM) Just upgraded from Win 7 Home to Win 10 Home yesterday. So the free upgrade is still available now. My win 7 is a retail version, so just use back the same product key from Win 7. Did you key in your Win7 key on the Win10 setup page during a fresh install? Or did you perform the upgrade in Win7? Thanks

QUOTE(WA300 @ Mar 23 2019, 05:33 PM) Yes, using my old win 7 key during the installation. I downloaded the ISO file to my flash drive first and then started the installation. thanks for the info! Good to know that the process is hassle-free for a fresh Win10 install

QUOTE(james.brownn @ Mar 25 2019, 08:23 PM) Is the update still available? I am using Windows 8 and planning to upgrade. Please let me know. Yes, according to another member who posted in this topic earlier. Microsoft is trying hard to push people to migrate to Windows 10. A popular tech site claimed that they been using Win 10 without license keys for their testbench machines and Windows would still function normally.
