i received a RM10 speed upgrade via email.
current package , RM139 for 30Mbps+Aneka plus before gst
so i went to tm point cyberjaya this morning and did the upgrade,
now, RM149 for 50Mbps+Aneka plus+ Voice STD20 before gst
try to get Ultimate pack included but the cs said no, she just throw in STD20 instead.
not bad i think.

Just called TM for something else, but then they mentioned about promo to switch over to Ruby Plus from Jumbo Lite and no charges for early contract termination. Happily accepted it but I just hope they won't be overcharging me next month.

Sifu-sifu here, I have been applying for unifi for the half year pass, but there is not port available at my area. Actually my neighbors are using unifi.
It seems like TM has no other solutions except asking me to wait for the available port, which means need to wait others to cut unifi line and make the port available. I don't think it gonna happen.
Agents don't have any idea also...

What can I do on this? Should I complaint to MCMC? Any workable idea will do...
*
You should try, maybe it helps.

Torrents doesn't seem to be working for me in Transmission QT, even for popular downloads like Ubuntu ISO, 0 peers, anyone experiencing the same issue?

EDIT: Just tried another client, seems to work fine

I signed the package RM179 for 30Mbps few years back.

Previously when Najib announced the internet speed thing during one of the budget tabling, TM offered free speed upgrade. My area not qualified due to the building cable. All I got was the free 1 year Jumbo pack for HyppTV.

Then they offered + RM10, free upgrade speed. Not qualified too.

Now the same thing, upgrade speed...and cheaper 30Mbps for B40. I'm not qualified for both again.

Seriously, WTF?
*
I think best you can do now is to go to TMPoint and speak with their manager, then you will get your price lowered to RM139. No more contract right?

how to differentiate my network is under ftth or vdsl? is there a way to find out?
*
One way is whether your house uses a new fibre line pulled when you install unifi, if so then you're on FTTH, but if it uses your old copper telephone line then you're on VDSL

and get turbo upgrade to 300mbps next year...
*
It's RM139 not 129

Noob question. Is it possible to have the Unifi modem to connect to two routers at the same time? As in LAN1 connect to a N router and LAN2 connect to a AC router?
*
No, you must connect the other router to your main router.

Besides pole have those white box. But I've never seen this type in any other area. Like tube
*
The white box is the FDP, a fibre cable will be pulled from there when you install unifi

QUOTE(birain @ Aug 4 2018, 05:19 PM)
it's for maxis.
*
Not just for maxis, but also for unifi, but it should be TM deploying the infrastructure for unifi first since maxis is only riding on TM's infrastructure in most area
