This is what I am expected.
I'm still waiting for Unifi package pricing reduce.

But first thing first is it can implement to remove the monopoly licence broadband?
You know what I am saying... cool2.gif

I think adsl2+ shd be stretched to the limit first. Introduce 6mbps package for those ineligible for 8mbps, accelerate vdsl2 deployment, open market and allow more operators to run lines alongside or where tm didnt cover

Fiber is actually very economical: unlike telephone where everyone has dedicated line, gpon fibre is 1 to many (like all the houses fiber just merge together into 1 single line, no segregation of signals)

You can’t buy the STB. You have to get it from Unifi, as it is tied to the MAC address of the STB, and only Unifi technicians can configure it with TM.
*
If im not wrong u can ask tm technician to set the mac address of your own new box to the backend what...

Does anyone knows what is the status with TM new plan offering in June?
It was not an official announcement by TM but leaked I think a few months ago.
The new plan is not using fibre optic and using "box" which you can use in any house.
This is not unifi wireless broadband because it was mentioned wired broadband.

Edit:
Here is the article.

Is this got to do with the Bawang ads?

Might this be a continuation of the old "streamyx in a box"? Expect similar pricing???

Very true, the idea of "Premium" and the associated premium pricing assures people who are not that technically inclined to believe that the product is better than lower-priced alternatives when, in many cases, the reverse is true. Asus is a good example. Premium brand, premium pricing and hence, peace of mind. Just look at the price of Asus in other countries where it is not such a premium brand.

Netgear is also quite good. Just dont get the bling bling model

Might be, but I am still not satisfied with the pricing.

Other Southeast Asian countries has cheaper broadband compared to Malaysia if we exclude singapore.  sad.gif

How can u exclude singapore? They have the cheapest internet per mbps in the world!!
1000mbps for sgd$39 = rm117 (cheaper than unifi lite lmao)

What is the data quota?
*
Singapore has no data quota for fixed line, all come with 1 dynamic public ip with asus discount. Also there is no adsl service allowed. Only fibre internet and cable internet (for ppl who move house frequently)
