QUOTE(maiffa71 @ Apr 10 2018, 05:58 AM) Contacted live chat & 100, and they're not able to offer any retention promo so basically I have to pay the same as before lmao. They advised me to walk into tmpoint tho to try and get a better deal. Will update soon.

Suggest you don't terminate the old one while applying new one. Make sure new one is up first before terminating the old one. I'm afraid your port will be taken by others once you terminate. Better be safe than sorry.

QUOTE(epalpai @ Apr 10 2018, 10:32 AM) after few complaints (and curses) to TM, today they changed my router from DIR850 (the black cylinder one) to C1200 (the one with 3 antennas). does the newly changed router has the new firmware, or do i have to upgrade it myself? last time no issue encountered with the L7 router they installed for 30mbps then upgraded to 50mbps. my firmware version: 1.0.0 Build 20180208 rel.57928 (EU) you can download from https://www.tp-link.com/my/download/Archer-...1.html#Firmware

You have to get it yourself but be prepared as the C1200 is not that good as well.

In other words, a lot of money.
