I haven't received the email despite the fact that I've consented the upgrade and it's on Aug-Dec

just subscribed to TM Unifi 2 months back and got the upgrade notification just now thru email

I didn't check eligibility and received the Turbo'ed email about 10 mins ago   

a fren of mine just told me he got email "turbo-ed".

he did not go to website to verify/accept.
this is where TM screws up big time... they announced on FB u MUST verify n accept to get the upgrade.

i was told on live chat MUST go to website and verify/accept.

but i got no email...do i need to verfiy/accept or not??

Same here, couldn't check eligibility (for obvious reasons) but received the email.
Showed starting 15th August 2018.

I didn't receive any email but tried that day I am supposed to be between Aug to Dec 2018.

Last round it happened to me too, everyone got the email for free upgrade, I didn't get anything yet I was amongst the first ones to get free upgrade here, on the first day itself.

Other UniFi communications, I will get but not those related to free speed upgrades.

On the same boat with you this time, still no email after checking it yesterday morning, also stated Aug to Dec 2018.

I was rejected couple of times just like 1 & 2, until Xefron confirmed that 3 is possible. So when my Ruby has been subscribed for  > 12 months I went ahead and tried again and was successfully.

Am I the only one did not receive the email for upgrade from TM?

Can we minus the hypptv only for monthly unifi?

That's sad. It hurts to pay for something I don't use.

Guys, what is the requirement for us to change the Hypptv package? Currently subscribe to Unifi Pro + ultimate package. Never use the hypptv also

lol i think would be another way round.. current 100Mbps subscriber confirm in ftth area and router should be able to support up to 800Mbps on LAN. So theoretically they do not need to come to your area to upgrade anything. just some setting change from their site. 
lol.. we'll see how.. still too early to judge tm.. mayb they improve this time   

Just realize this:
Technically, TP-Link AC1200 can support up-to 867Mbps on 5ghz band.
Maybe this is why Unifi 100Mbps get upgraded to 800Mbps

Yes, same wifi specs more or less, different features. Even though the C1200 has 3 antennas and the C5 has 2, they're are both 2 chains aka 2x2 MIMO.

last time check at website say is upgrade within this year but until now never receive email or SMS

yes, exactly, unless one is doing file download. else, cannot utilize the bandwidth more than 30Mbps.

You’ll be getting these sms formats prior to turbo upgrade
